Sometimes when Christians say, “This world just needs Jesus” it can sound like a cliche and a cop-out.

It can seem that we don’t really care, or don’t intend to actually do anything ourselves.

However, for most,
who were lost then found,
broken then made whole,
hungry then satisfied,
hurting then healed,
we KNOW it was JESUS
who changed our lives.

He rescued us from all sorts of things; and, often, He used the hearts He changed in others to help change our own.

We found Him in their kindness. We saw Him in their hope-filled lives.

We wanted the same peace and hope and joy that wasn’t dependent on their circumstances because of Jesus. Just Jesus.

We learned to trust Him and His ways more than we trust ourselves as we got to know Him through His Word.

We discovered His Word, the Bible, is not just a “bunch of rules” but the way the Living God speaks to us and leads us to His best.

We actually found God’s ways really are better than our ways or our feelings.

It is Jesus that causes us to love others in a way far greater than we could ever love them without Him, and it is He who works in us AND through us to change things.

So, yes, we believe this world “Just needs Jesus” because He can change everything!

He changed us and gave us so much more than this world, or this government, or any movement of man, anything else could ever give or ever change.

He gave us Himself and HE changed everything!

Yes, this world just needs Jesus.
