God hates lies (Prov 12:22).
The devil is the father of all lies (John 8:44).
He often uses lies in order to fulfill his goal to rob, kill, and destroy (John 10:10).
I’ve seen this play out this year as lies have impacted our family, our church, and our nation.
I understand more than ever why God hates lies.
I am convinced we have to be passionate about living truth and telling others truth.
We are seeing the devastating effects when we allow lies to be treated as truth.
The evil one uses lies to deceive people into making horrible choices that lead to the destruction of families, churches, and even the death of others.
Individuals, families and nations will never find peace, hope, and joy while believing and living lies. Charlie Kirk knew this and died for it.
❤️But the truth, is still the truth, and worth telling and living❤️
God created male and female (Gen 1:27). A man cannot become a woman and a woman cannot become a man.
God created marriage to be between a man and a woman. (Gen 2:24, Matt 19:4-6)
God creates life, He knows us before He forms us in our mother’s wombs (Jer 1:5). Abortion is taking the life of another.
Jesus is THE way, THE truth and THE life and no one comes to the Father except through Him. (John 14:6)
Following Jesus is so much more than a belief in His existence. The Bible tells us the demons believe and shudder (James 2:19).
Christians are people who love Jesus and seek to acknowledge Him in all their ways(Prov 3:5-6). Christians seek to obey Him by doing what He says in His Word (John 14:15) regardless of feelings or circumstances.
This obedience may cost us friends, fortune, and even our very lives.
Jesus didn’t hide the truth of this.
He told us, “For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it.” Mark 8:35
Oh friends, may we, more than ever, tell and live by the truth of the Word for our good and God’s glory.
Salvation is found in no one else! (Acts 4:12)
“In him was life, and life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (John 1:4-5)
