Like many of you, I have the Bible on my smart phone, but there is just something special about “my” printed copy of God’s Word.

Holding it in my hands, I remember the days when I underlined the pages, some of them wrinkled from my tears.

It’s a history, tattered, highlighted, and written-on of Jesus moments I can literally hold close to my heart.

While my Bible app is handy to have with me, I still love the feel of my Bible and the memories of the truth-teaching, hold-me-together, keep-me-going times those crinkly pages evoke.

‪And this help-you daily seeking, the seeking that yields rivers of peace, is just that, daily.

Day in. Day out.
Every season.
Bible open.
Pouring over Scripture.

There are no shortcuts. ‬

But those who diligently seek God through His Word find Him, and they learn they can confidently trust Him.

They are the ones who withstand the storms and have true joy.

Oh friend, open it up. Ask the Lord to give you a hunger for it. Ask Him to speak to you through it. He wants to speak, you know.

And plant the Word in your heart today….for who knows what tomorrow will bring.

But we know this, God’s Word won’t return void (Isa 55:11) and He will bring it back to your mind (John 14:26), at just the right time, to truly help you walk forward in truth and peace.
