Hope for these hard days!

Life has indeed been hard lately.

Stress and worry have been as a thick cloud consuming my energy and robbing my sleep.

I’ve ran to God. I’ve pleaded for Him to pull us out of this pit of problems.

But we’re still in the “not yet”.

But this season of trouble, is only a season and not a sentence.

Every hard day has an end. Every tear will be wiped away. Weakness will be replaced with strength. Despair will give way to hope.

Joy is on the horizon.
For God’s children.

For no weapon formed against us will stand. (Isa 54:17)

The victory has already been won.

The Most High God fights for His own.

He calls us the apple of His eye. (Psalm 17:8)

He knows every hair on our heads and every concern of our minds. (Matt 10:26-31)

He knows what each day will bring. (Psalm 139)

He will never leave nor forsake His children. (Deut 31:6)

He is at work bringing blessing from hard times. (Rom 8:28)

He’s done that since time began.
He won’t stop now!

And everything we think is ours to control, is really His. Even our next breath.

He is on the other side of whatever comes our way.

Yes, though we walk through the valleys that feel like death, and the news just keeps getting worse, we can fear no evil. (Ps 23:4)

Not because of us, or our strength, or even our own faithfulness, but because of Christ alone.

And so, in our “not yets”, when the problems are thick and the worry surrounds us, may we turn our eyes to Jesus and trust Him for this day.

May we do the same day after day,
all the way Home to Heaven
with Him.
