The Church will stand! The gates of Hades will not prevail against it! (Matt 16:18)

Oh, I know, our culture opposes so many things about the Church. And we’ve seen those who lead churches compromise with our ungodly culture, forsake Biblical truth, and fall into scandal.

It can be disheartening to say the least.

But Jesus tells us
NOTHING
shall prevail
against His Church.

Nothing.

Oh, we may be bruised in the battle, and more dark days of attack will likely come; but with the first mention of church in the Bible (Matt 16:18) comes the promise that the Church will indeed prevail!

Prevail.

Prevail – “prove more powerful than opposing forces; be victorious”. (Oxford Language Dictionary)

If God is for us, who can be against us? (Rom 8:31)

And He is for His Church.
Of that, we can all be absolutely certain!

He calls her His Bride. (Rev 21:2)

One day all things will be made new! (2 Cor 5:17)
One day there will be the Marriage Supper of the Lamb (Rev 19:9).

God will complete all the good things He has started! (Phil 1:6)

He is working all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Rom 8:28).

Oh friend, let’s bank on this! Let’s walk forward in the real confidence of this! Let’s tell others of the certainty of this!

Let’s keep meeting together as the Church and encourage one another and all the more as we see the Day approaching! (Heb 10:25)

Because, it’s approaching!!
