Those who were made new by the blood of Christ, will never live content in their old ways.

Though we may try to hold on to certain sins, downplaying their dangers, our hearts will never find peace there.

As we daily surrender our will to the way of the Lord, we are refreshed to walk in more and more freedom.

But the enemy won’t make it easy.

He knows your weaknesses and wounds and will exploit them at every turn.

Make no mistake, you’re in a battle for yourself and those you love.

You can’t ignore the war raging against your soul and you can’t play around with it.

You need to daily put on the full armor of God’s Word.

A glance at a pastor’s tweet, a motivational moment, a 2-minute devotional is like trying to fight a raging forest fire with a squirt gun.

Set down your phone and run to the throne—you will find truth there.

Open the Word and allow the Holy Spirit to teach you and guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

The weapons you’ll find there have divine power to demolish strongholds and set captives free.

The fiery darts, the lies of the enemy, the temptations you’ll face around every corner are defeated with the truth God will speak to you as you sit at His feet.

My words, nor any human words will never impact your life like the holy, God-breathed words of Scripture.

“Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. But evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
