In light of recent events, let me say this again, we need to see this gender identity issue as what it truly is—that which God created shaking its fist at the Creator!

“So God created man in His image, in the image of God He created him, male and female He created them.” (Gen 1:27)

Male.
Female.

Man.
Woman.

Recognizable.
Definable.

Even by Supreme Court nominees!

But the enemy has attacked and twisted these, clear as day, foundational truths.

He has attacked marriage. He has perverted and twisted sexuality. He has even convinced many that God cannot determine if they are male or female and that they can decide that for themselves.

God warns, “ Woe to him who strives with him who formed him,” (Isa 45:9)

A recent article in Medical News Today, ludicrously stated, “Only the person themselves can determine what their gender identity is.”

Those who say this are, in essence, rebelliously saying, “I determine my gender. Not God.”

And those who agree with this philosophy, who think men and women can’t be defined are equally advocating for this rebellion against the Creator and His Words in Genesis 1:27.

But God.

He is long suffering with our rebellion that has come in some pretty ridiculous forms since He created us.

This is really nothing new! Humans have tried to be their own god since the beginning. We’ve gone our own way. We have all tried to control what we cannot control.

We’ve tried to write our own rules or lack thereof.

But deep down, we know we really aren’t in charge. Regardless of what we call ourselves, the Creator calls the shots.

“The truth is the truth even if no one believes it. A lie is a lie even if everyone believes it.” (Stevens)

A biological man can call himself a woman all day long, he can take hormones and have surgeries, but his body will never, ever, produce an egg or birth a baby.

Our culture has made this statement controversial and they try to cancel and control those who disagree. (Charlie Kirk and The Babylon Bee are currently banned from Twitter).

The thing is, those who think they can redefine truth are not in control whether they admit it or not.

We, humans, can’t even control our next breath. The writer of Hebrews tells us it is appointed (by God) once a man to die and after this the judgment. (Heb 9:27)

We can shake our little fists at God, and live like we are going to live forever, but all of us know this is not true.

One day we will die. One day the Creator of the Universe, who created us male and female, will judge His creation.

And while some carry their flags and wear their rebellion on the outside, so very proudly, others are equally, rebellious. They just choose to hide it.

For all who have rebelliously refused to surrender to Jesus as Lord will hear the terrible words “depart from me, I never knew you” (Matt 7:23)

For the God who created the Heavens and Earth and mankind, has done and will do all He says in His Word.

The time is coming of His return. The crazier this world looks, the sooner this seems.

Do you, who God chose of all His creation to bear the His image, do you know your Maker?

I’m not asking if you just know about Him. Is He Lord of your life?

Because it is there, and only there, that you will find peace. The sweetest of peace. (Luke 19:41)

Is the Creator your Savior? If so, follow Him and give glory to Him! (See James 2-19-20, John 14:15, Matt 16:24-26)
