It’s Constitution Day.
This should matter to Christians. For this document was written with freedom in mind.
And Christian, our freedoms to exercise our faith, and freely speak about our faith, have never been more in danger.
Look around. Notice what is being done in the name of safety.
These infringements on our rights should not be taken lightly. We cannot sit idly by. It’s time to urge your elected leaders to push back on the overreach of government in the workplace, the schoolhouse, and the church house.
Let’s take a stand, before it’s too late, for the blessings of liberty that we have so enjoyed for ourselves and for our posterity.
Let’s pray for this country. Let’s ask the Lord to strengthen and embolden our pastors to speak truth and raise up leaders who will not sit idly by and watch our freedoms, bought by blood, sweat and tears, be trounced on by those who have no regard for the ways of God and utterly disdain His people.
The threat is real. America, as we know her, may never be the same. Let it not be said of us that we paid no attention and watched the land of the free and the home of the brave be destroyed by those who have no regard for liberty or justice and think themselves above reproach.
May we pray. May we find our voices for ourselves and for our children, for the entire world, in fact, benefits when America is the land of the free and the home of the brave!
