Words on a page. Hope in my heart.
As His blood flows down, and the human heart of my Savior stops, the curtain separating men from a Holy God was torn in two. (Luke 23:44-46)
God’s own Son, the perfect Lamb had laid down His life.
The way was made.
It was finished.
Forever finished.
Because of Jesus, we have access to God—the Creator and Sustainer of Heaven and Earth. The One who knows all things, and controls all things, and is completely good.
May the MAGNITUDE of that statement not be lost on us.
And right now, this very moment, because of Jesus, we have access to the Father.
Because of the blood of Jesus, those who call on His Name, are adopted as sons (John 1:12).
Those who were enemies become sons and daughters (Rom 5:10, Gal 4:5-7)
The God of the Universe hears the cries of our hearts. He can no more forget about us than a nursing mother could forget her child. (Isa 49:15)
The Friend, Who is closer than a brother (Prov 18:24), hears the silent hopes we dare not tell anyone else. He knows every word before it’s ever on our tongue (Psalm 139:4).
He knows every day we will ever face before one of them will come to be (Psalm 139) and He promises He won’t leave us or forsake us (Deut 31:6, Heb 13:5)
He knows every bad thing we’ve ever done (Psalm 69:5) but receives our prayers of repentance. Over and over. He forgives our sins and remembers them no more. (Heb 8:12)
Yes, because of what Jesus did on the Cross, the curtain was torn in two! (Luke 23:45)
May we never just pass by those words in casual reading!
May we, who were separated, but now
so very close to the
Creator,
Sustainer,
Provider,
Faithful,
Hope-Giver,
Breath-Holder,
All-Powerful,
King of Kings,
Good, Good Father,
Alpha and Omega,
Coming Soon,
King of Kings!
The Only True God!
And our Rescuer! ❤️
Praise His Holy Name! For that curtain, separating God and man is torn in two!!!
Do you have anything going on today that He can’t handle?!
What a Savior!
