How many hairs are on your head? How many do you wipe off your bathroom counters every day?

It’s crazy to think just how many hairs fall from our heads every, single day, while others grow in.

This makes Luke 12:7 even more special: “but the very hairs on your head are all numbered.”

Numbered.
God numbers the hairs on our heads!

How I love my children. How close my heart is to them. But, I don’t keep a running count of the number of hairs on their heads.

How much closer is our Father who numbers the hairs on our heads?

Oh friend, He sees us. He loves us. He is intimately with us always.

Close.
So. Very. Close

My mind cannot fathom that the One who created the universe, numbers the ever-changing numbers of hairs on my head! You know, He probably even knows my latest color! 😉

The One who has not forgotten the sparrow (Luke 12:6), has not, and could not, forget about His children!

But know this, that is exactly what the enemy wants us to believe.

Friend, the evil one, the father of all lies, wants you to think God is some aloof, uninvolved, far-away god that has forgotten about you.

But NOTHING could be further from the truth.

God tells His children, “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” (Isa 41:10)

So, “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” (Deut 31:6)

In fact, “The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.”
(Zeph 3:17)

Oh friend, let’s remember the love of our Father and let that with-us love quiet us and encourage us to follow Him in all our ways.

May every hair that falls on our bathroom sinks, as we get ready for the day, remind us of this truth!

We are precious to our Father and He is with us! Always!
