Hold on in HOPE!

I’ve seen the Lord work, and He didn’t need me at all.

He did everything. His Holy Spirit moved in ways I never expected and the evidence is clear.

I wish I could tell you that I never worried or doubted that He would move. I wish I could say I never tried to take things in my own hands or get angry that His timing was not when I wanted.

But despite all that…God moved! He gloriously did what I could never do. His arm was not too short that it could not save nor His ear dull that He could not ear (Isa 59:1).

And yes, just like the rest of that chapter in Isaiah describes, God is fully aware of every doubt, worry, fear, transgression and wrong way we, and those we love can take. He sees every ugly thing!

But He, Himself, is, and was, and will be our Redeemer. He alone can save!

And for those who turn from their transgressions and run to His Worthy arms (Isa 59:20), He promises—

“My Spirit that is upon you, and my words that I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouth of your offspring, or out of the mouth of your children’s offspring,” says the LORD, “from this time forth and forevermore.”(Isa 59:21)

It’s done. It’s finished. Never because of us, but always because of Him!

For those who turn to Christ, those who know they need Him, those who remember they need Him and keep going to Him again and again, will surely find Him and see Him move!

This my eyes have seen.

Of this, my heart remembers and my tongue will tell and tell again.

For this, I am forever thankful.

Indeed, His arm was not too short that it could not save nor His ear dull that He could not hear! (Isa 59:1).

Oh friends, hold on in hope! For God has sent a Redeemer who is Christ the Lord!
