Keep it up…

Do you take your faith “way too seriously”?

Have you been left out or scorned because of it?

Have others deliberately tried to hurt you because of the Name of Christ you wear?

We need only look at our society to know the winds of persecution are fiercely gathering against those who honor Christ and follow the Bible.

In fact, society is increasingly enraged when they hear truth and scoff at those who speak it.

It was this way for the prophets of old and Stephen recounted this just before he, himself, was stoned for the truth he spoke (Acts 7).

The disciples faced imprisonment, beating, scoffing and martyrs’ deaths, as well, for daring speak the name of Jesus—where salvation may be found.

Yet, they kept on speaking of Jesus.

In fact, they said they couldn’t help speaking what they had seen and heard (Acts 4:20).

They even rejoiced that they were counted worthy to suffer dishonor for the Name, and they did not cease teaching and preaching. (Acts 5:41-42).

It certainly wasn’t politically or socially correct then, but they kept on telling others about Jesus and following God in how they lived.

And as they did, MANY came to follow Christ! Even those who scoffed and persecuted Christians (like Saul) were radically changed. The Kingdom of God powerfully advanced!

And it still is!!!

One voice at a time.
One life at a time.

As one brave soul decides to risk persecution and share the truth of the gospel with neighbor, coworkers and friends —even to those who scoff and ridicule—from those conversations can come more C.S. Lewis’s and Lee Strobels (scoffing atheists turned faithful teachers of truth).

Oh friend!! Hold on to your faith in Jesus!

Keep sharing truth with others!

Yes, the enemy will notice and you may be rejected and dishonored in this politically-correct, anti-Christian world.

But God is still at work!! He sees you. He is pleased with those who love Him and others enough to keep bravely speaking His Name!

He who is in you is so much stronger than He who is in this world! (1John 4:4)

He is worthy of every word we utter in praise of Him!

And pray for each other… I covet your prayers for our family.
