The Pharisees and Sadducees try to trip Jesus up with their questioning but He remains steady and wise in His answers, completely in control.

Completely in control.

The Savior had told His disciples He was headed to die, and the religious leaders and Roman officials, who thought they had power, had no power in the supernatural rescue that the King of Kings was directing. (Matt 22:23-33)

And so it is today. As evil forces on earth and in the heavenly realm wage war against God—His Kingdom is still powerfully advancing. His will is being done. Nothing throws Him off His perfect timetable of fulfilling the prophecies surrounding His Second Coming.

And we, who are His children, need to remember this. We need to hold onto this and especially now.

Like our Savior, our should hearts break at the sadness of those who walk in bondage to the misery of sin and we should always be ready to share the hope of Jesus Christ.

That readiness will come from intentionally taking in truth from the Word of God every day.

Every day.
Not just Sundays.
But every day, and now more than ever.

For God will use His Living Word to encourage your own heart and He will give you what you need each day for all that will come your way.

God will also use those who love Jesus to encourage one another. Just yesterday, so many of you prayed for me. Thank you. We truly felt those prayers and God calmed our anxious hearts. I will likely share more one day on that, but for now, thank you. Truly thank you.

Oh friends, the days are hard. But our Savior is at work. He is doing what He said He will do. His Kingdom is advancing and He will keep carrying us all the way Home!
