Yesterday, President Trump signed an Executive Order banning the chemical castration and medical mutilation of children.
Christians should vocally applaud this move.
We know this is a good and right decision.
We know because scripture tells us,“God created man in His image, in the image of God He created him, male and female He created them.” (Gen 1:27)
Male.
Female.
And the enemy has attacked and twisted this, clear as day, foundational truth.
He has even convinced many that God cannot determine if they are male or female and that they can decide that for themselves.
This is absurd. And it is certainly absurd to think that a child can decide this!
Let’s see this gender identity issue as what it is—that which God created shaking its fist at the Creator!
God warns, “Woe to him who strives with him who formed him,” (Isa 45:9)
Woe to the parents and doctors who foolishly subject children to chemical castration and mutilation.
Thank God this administration is standing up for these kids!
These parents and doctors are playing God and rebelling against Him with devastating, life long, effects in these kids.
Christian, I’m not saying every decision this administration makes will be right (though they’ve made some great ones so far).
However, I am saying we need to find our voices to applaud the good decisions that are in alignment with our biblical principles; and, in turn be ready to disagree with any policy that is not.
Let’s study our Bibles. Let’s know what we believe and be confident to apply biblical principles to this world.
May we choose to follow Christ above all—even when others run the other way.
Let’s not call wrong things right (Isa 5:20) or let our silence be assumed as agreement. Let’s not cooperate with the enemy and his efforts to sew confusion, doubt and dissension.
Let’s be prepared to give an answer for the hope that we have in trusting God’s way over the ways of this crazy culture. (1 Pet 3:15, Prov 14:12).
Let’s stand as light in the darkness pointing others to the better, but narrow, road of following Christ ( Matt 7:13-14).
For the God who created the Heavens and Earth and mankind male and female, has done and will do all He says in His Word. (Gen 1, Num 23:19).
One day He will return. The crazier this world looks, the sooner this seems.
May we who know Him, test everything, (1 Thess 5:21) and acknowledge Him in all our ways (Prov 3:6).
May our faith absolutely affect our politics! May our voices tell of His better ways.
