Evil seems to advance when “good men do nothing”.
Studies show, almost half of those who call themselves evangelicals will not vote in this election.
What holds us back from engaging in our world and standing on truth in this once great country of ours?
Some say neither choice is good, but the thing is, one of these two will be our next President and if you still find yourself engaging at all in this world of imperfect choices then you should certainly engage in this one.
If you still watch tv, or go to the movies, you are, in fact, picking one less-than-perfect choice over another. And this election has greater consequences than your entertainment choices. So engage.
When good people do nothing, others will assume their roles, and we wonder why we’ve ended up with the choices we have?
I believe our country is at a crossroads.
Honestly, I sometimes wonder if we are too far gone; but I hope and pray not—especially when I think about my children and grandchildren.
And this election will certainly impact them.
I believe too many of us have been distracted, disheartened, and perhaps even fearful, and have sat silently by; and now find ourselves stuck between the choice of a tremendously flawed, man and a woman who seems to increasingly, with boldness, stand on the side of wickedness and depravity.
Honestly, I have shaken my head in disbelief at the things DJT has said and the way he says them. I was disappointed recently as he clearly compromised on his previously firm stance on the sanctity of life.
What’s more, I’m saddened by his pride, but I have also seen this same man enact laws for life and religious freedom as few others have ever done.
It’s honestly perplexing to me to agree with most of his policies and be repulsed by his personality and moral failures.
However, the other candidate consistently chooses to enthusiastically promote as right the things God very clearly calls wrong—opening our country up to dangerous ideologies as never before.
And while I prefer to study and share about scripture, I cannot, at this crucial time, silently separate my biblical worldview from the public square.
My theology impacts everything—including my politics. I think yours should too.
I have chosen to share these thoughts, at the risk of offending some, because I absolutely believe our churches and our children will be impacted by this upcoming election as no election in this country’s history.
Please understand there are millions who enthusiastically support the evil policies of this current administration. Millions.
They want to silence every voice that stands on the side of biblical principles.
They will flood the polls to vote for the right to kill babies right up to birth and even after. They fully support taking away parents rights for their children, denying every sort of religious freedom, and opening our borders to all kinds of threats.
The lines are clearly drawn on those issues, and those issues alone should compel you to go and vote.
Though our choices are far from perfect , Christians have the responsibility to advocate for the good of others and strategically vote in a way that best thwarts the ability of evil to hurt others.
Let me be clear, I believe Christians should vote for DJT and the Republican platform across the ballot.
I would encourage you to compare the two platforms if you have any doubt.
I also believe the hope for this country is Jesus Christ, but to fail to make a choice, in this situation, is opening the door for more evil to reign.
And on top of all this, I would implore you to pray. Let’s pray for God to have mercy on this country that has fallen so far as to have only the choices we now face.
Let’s prayerfully ask Him to bring salvation and revival.
For He, the One true God, who stands far above any government, is truly our only hope. May He have mercy on us.

Hello from the UK
Many thanks for your post. I am not a citizen of the US but I do follow Christ and I have to agree with you. Donald Trump is flawed although quite how much is true about what we hear relies on a corrupted mainstream media.
As to your comment it is true. But God has used such people to bring judgement on nations. We ourselves are flawed, yet God is gracious enough to use us as he sees fit.
In any event as the last four if not more years have shown, evil has ben exposed in both parties but espcially in the Democrats who seem to be going quite insane in their promotion of evil.
A vote for a president is only one small part of the greater whole. Ultimately it is the Lord Jesus Christ who must be lifted up as he draws all men to himself. He must be our king.
Kind regards
