That’s my house last Christmas. It doesn’t snow that often in East Tennessee, but this SNOW came ON CHRISTMAS!

I ran around outside squealing like a five-year-old! It was glorious!

But, you know, that brief moment of awe and wonder just made my heart long even more to behold the REAL, lasting glory of the Christ of CHRISTmas!

Oh, that our human hearts would catch just a glimpse of the glory of Him!

The Whiter than Snow…

The Perfect Lamb. (1 Pet 1:19)

He is Healer, Helper, Hope and Provider.

The Way, the Truth and the Life. (John 14:6)

Absolutely nothing is impossible for Him. (Luke 1:37)

Nothing.

He heals the sick, calms the seas, and raises the dead.

He is Lifter of our heads and the Peace that makes no earthly sense. (Phil 4:7)

He commands the angel armies (Ps 103:20) yet His eye is on the sparrow(Matt 6:25-34).

He sets the lonely in families (Ps 68:6) and relentlessly pursues the prodigal.

He never leaves and never forsakes. (Deut 31:6)

He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Ps 50:10) and numbers the very hairs on our heads. (Luke 12:7)

He catches every tear (Ps 56:8) and sets the stars in the sky. (Ps 8:3)

The winds obey Him (Matt 8:27), and no flesh can glory in His presence. (1 Cor 1:29)

He is a father to the orphan and hears the cry of the afflicted. (Job 34:28)

Whatever His soul desires, He does. He sends forth His Word to accomplish what He pleases. (Isa 55:11)

His ways are always perfect. (Ps 18:30)

He turns the heads of kings (Prov 21:1) and, in Him, the weary soul finds rest. (Matt 11:28)

He cannot be contained, predicted, or defined.

He is both Mighty and Merciful.

He alone is worthy to receive glory and honor and power! (Rev 4:11)

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty Who was and is and is to come! (Rev 4:8)

Worthy ALONE is the Lamb who was slain!

Worthy is the Soon Coming King!

The King who came as a baby, born of a virgin, laid in the manger, predicted by the prophets, worshiped by shepherds, angels and wise men…

The Spotless Lamb, the CHRIST of Christmas, and Only Son of God…

The perfect sacrifice.

The Last Lamb Who willingly gave His life so men might live!

The ONLY Way.

He ALONE is worthy of our worship!

He is worthy of glory and honor and praise from my lips and from yours!

His name is Faithful and True (Rev 19:11)! The Word of God! King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

He is coming again! (Rev 22:12)

He will wipe away every tear! There will be no more sorrow or death or pain for His children. (Rev 21:4)

He will make all things new for those whose names are written in the Lambs Book of Life—those who know Him as Lord and Savior! (Rev 21:27)

One day, one glorious day! Our faith will truly become sight!

But until then…

May we take the time to pause and to marvel….

More than I marveled over that Christmas snow!

May we be truly AWESTRUCK at the One whose GLORY is ENDLESS!

May we worship, with all our lives, what our hearts know to be true and what, one day, our eyes will most certainly behold!

There is no god like our God!
