It’s Cyber Monday. I’d love to snag a few deals today. My inbox is already filling up with ads. My mind is already racing to all I want to get, and all I need to do this busy Monday morning of this Christmas season.

But, oh, if our hearts would pause long enough to catch just a glimpse of the glory of God in this day. The One we celebrate!

The CHRIST of Christmas
The Bright Morning Star.
The Eternal One.
The Hope of the Nations.
The Messiah and Savior.

He is the still small voice and the booming thunder.

He is Creator,
Alpha and Omega.
The Conquering King.
He is the Friend closer than a brother.
The Perfect Lamb.

He is Healer, Helper, Hope and Provider.
In this hard world.
Always.

The Way, the Truth and the Life.
Absolutely nothing is impossible for Him.
Nothing.

He heals the sick, calms the seas, and raised the dead.
He is Lifter of our heads and the Peace that makes no earthly sense.

He commands the angel armies yet holds the sparrow.

He is powerful, gentle and kind.

He sets the lonely in families and relentlessly pursues the prodigal.
He never leaves and never forsakes.

He owns the cattle on a thousand hills and numbers the very hairs on our heads.

He catches every tear and sets the stars in the sky.
The winds obey Him, and no flesh can glory in His presence.

He is a father to the orphan and hears the cry of the afflicted.
This very moment.

Whatever His soul desires, He does. He sends forth His Word to accomplish what He pleases.

His ways are always perfect. Always.

He turns the heads of kings and, in Him, the weary soul finds rest.

He cannot be contained, predicted, or defined.
He is both Mighty and Merciful.

He alone is worthy to receive glory and honor and power!

Holy, holy, holy
is the Lord God Almighty
Who was and is
and is to come!

Worthy ALONE is the Lamb who was slain!
Worthy is the Soon Coming King!

The King who came as a baby, born of a virgin, laid in the manger, predicted by the prophets, worshiped by shepherds, angels and wise men…

The Spotless Lamb,
the CHRIST of Christmas,
and Only Son of God…
The perfect sacrifice.

The Last Lamb Who willingly gave His life so men might live!
The ONLY Way.
He ALONE is worthy of our worship!

He is worthy of glory and honor and praise from my lips and from yours!

His name is Faithful and True!
The Word of God!
King of Kings and Lord of Lords!
He is coming again!

There will be no more sorrow or death or pain for His children.

He will make all things new for those whose names are written in the Lambs Book of Life—those who know Him as Lord and Savior!

One day, one glorious day!
Our faith will truly become sight!

But until then…
May we take the time to pause and to marvel….
May we be AWESTRUCK!

EVERY DAY.

May we worship, with all our lives, what our hearts know to be true and what, one day, our eyes will most certainly behold!
There is no god like our God!
Hallelujah!
Glory to God in the Highest!
