Christ predicted the destruction of Jerusalem.

He warned the Jewish people, but so many did not believe Him.

He told them, when they saw the armies surrounding the city they should flee to the mountains (Luke 21:20)

Those who believed Him to be the Messiah believed His words and fled; but those, who did not believe Jesus to be who He said He was, ignored His warning.

History records that 1.1 million Jews were killed and another 97,000 were taken captive.

Jesus had wept over Jerusalem and warned them. Yet they ignored Him. (Luke 19:41-44)

He said, “If you had known, even you, the things that make for your peace!” (v 41)

After predicting the destruction of Jerusalem, Jesus goes on to describe His Second Coming; and that there will be signs for that just like the signs of the destruction of Jerusalem-

He says, “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” (Luke 21:25-28)

Fear-filled days are coming. Christ is pleading and warning… “If you had known, even you, the things that make for your peace!”

The kind of peace, Jesus speaks of, is the only peace that saves.

Peace between man and God.
For eternity.
Do you know the thing that makes for your peace?

Do you know about the Cross?

The sinless Son of God.
He left a throne in Heaven and came to die.
For all those who would believe.

History records His life and the Bible is one of the most well-preserved, most reliable books of all time (see https://www1.cbn.com/cbnnews/us/2016/march/incredible-proof-for-why-you-should-have-faith-in-the-bible )

Know this, Jesus called every shot.
He fulfilled every prophecy.
He will fulfill every prophecy about His Second Coming as well!

Fearful days may come sooner rather than later. Don’t think you can wait!

Do you know the only thing that makes for YOUR peace?

Jesus stands with open arms for all who will believe.

Someone needs to know, you have not out-sinned His ability to be your peace!

His blood is the only way.
The only way.
Your only way!

“And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among menc by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)

He alone paid the price. He did for us what we cannot do for ourselves. He made the way! Salvation is found in no one else!

“If you had known, even you, the things that make for your peace!”
