Let’s don’t miss this. In the early part of Matthew 19, Jesus gives some very important instruction.
He says, “He who made them at the beginning made them male and female.” (Matt 19:4)
God is very clear that He made two, and only two, genders.
To reject this is to rebel against your Creator. We are seeing this to be rampant in our culture and Christians need to be clear in their stance on this.
God made males and females distinctly different (and God, not us) created marriage, and is therefore, the One to be dictating it’s terms and designs.
He clearly created marriage to be between one man and one woman (not same sex marriage or polygamy) and He meant it for life (not to be entered into lightly). (Matt 19:4-6).
As followers of Christ, we must align ourselves with this thinking that God makes very clear in His Word. We need to teach this to our kids, and we need to vote for those who adhere to these and other biblical principles such as those dealing with debt, and the sanctity of life.
We cannot separate our faith from how we live in this world. To do so, is to place our allegiance to a political party or country above our allegiance to the ways of God.
Let’s understand we are to take this seriously. Let’s research the platforms of the political parties we support. Let’s understand God holds us accountable for not only what we do, but for what we SUPPORT.
Romans 1:32 says, “Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.”
God gave us His Word so we know His will and His ways. Let’s be very careful to apply it to every area of our lives. Let’s be careful what we do AND what we approve.
Let’s understand our actions have consequences. I think many of us are seeing that right now in our country and our world.
