Just want to take a moment and invite you to join me starting tomorrow (Jan 5th) in the book of Colossians.
The past several months have been full of good things, and hard things, and busy things, for our family—like I expect many of you have experienced.
The world around us is certainly ever-changing, and the enemy would certainly like to deceive , distract, and discourage us.
For this reason, I find myself drawn to Colossians and would love to have you read along with me. I’ll be sharing my thoughts, here on this page, but I also love to hear your insights too.
My hope is, as always, that we can encourage one another to hold tight to and follow the One who loves us perfectly through all the ups and downs that this life brings.
As the dear old Apostle and author of this letter to the church in Colosse, Paul, says —May we “be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him: bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; being strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience joy; giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to thekingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” (Col 1:9-14)
What more could we need?!
