We need to know and stand for biblical truth.
We need to find the courage and wisdom to refute the lies of the evil one.
The Bible tells us God hates lying lips (Prov 12:22).
When a lie is treated as truth there is always destruction.
This is why perpetrators of lies must be refuted and treated differently than those who believe their lives.
Jesus said, “Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin.” (Luke 17:1-2)
All Christians have a responsibility to know the Word of God and speak truth in order to protect those who may be deceived and destroyed by lies.
As Christians we should have grace, mercy and love for those who have been deceived by lies and do all we can to help them walk in freedom-giving truth.
But we should treat the perpetrators of lies differently and should vigorously and publicly refute those who promote lies as truth.
Let’s stop being so distracted and get involved in what’s going on around us because we will all reap the destruction to our country if we do not.
Let’s take a stand against those in our universities and school systems allowing and promoting garbage to our younger generations.
Let’s stop sitting idly by and publicly refute “Christian” teachers and pastors who use their platforms to promote false teaching that contradicts the Bible.
Let’s pull our financial support from companies who support destructive culture movements (such as Transgenderism and homosexuality) in the “name of inclusion and love”.
Let’s call wrong things wrong. Let’s vote against political platforms that defend and promote wrong things like abortion as does the current Democratic Party platform. Let’s urge the wobbling Republican Party to move back toward biblical principles. (And before you argue here go pull up and compare each party’s platform).
If we truly believe God’s ways are better, let’s promote right and true things in our daily lives as we interact with others.
Let’s start every day in the Word and let’s ask the Lord to examine our hearts first, before we ever open our mouths.
Let’s love those caught up in what the Bible calls sin, let’s tell them with confidence that there is a better way, and let’s vigorously refute those who trade in anti-biblical deception and destruction.
Let’s love God and others enough to do this! May He give us wisdom and courage to walk this out. May He bring revival!
