This election. Let’s don’t squander the reprieve we’ve been given.

Like many Christians, I believe the Lord has given us a bit of a reprieve with the election of Donald Trump.

I believe his presidency will make it easier for right things to prevail, but this will only happen if Christians are emboldened to pray, to speak out, and seek revival as never before.

Yes, we have a new administration but we have to keep our eye on the prize—real change comes from changed hearts. We know that.

Let’s be ever more emboldened to speak truth while our freedom to do so is being protected like it is with our new leadership.

Let’s keep diligently praying for our leaders to themselves know and follow Christ and govern in a way that honors biblical principles.

Let’s hold their feet to the fire if they do not.

Let’s be bold enough to call wrong things wrong, regardless of what party promotes them; and let’s encourage leaders who stand for right things like the right to life, the sanctity of marriage, and God-given male and female gender identity.

I applaud President Trump’s executive order yesterday instructing the federal government to recognize only two genders.

I applaud this because my study of the Word tells me this is in accordance with biblical principles (Gen 1:27).

Friends, we have to know what we believe and why, and be prepared to give an answer for it (1 Peter 3:15) These are not the days to relax in this area!

The enemy has not given up.
He has come to rob, kill and destroy.(John 10:10). Our Bibles tell us that.

Let’s keep asking God to protect and bless our nation. Let’s not relax! Let’s not shrink back, but endeavor more than ever, to be light in the darkness pointing others to the REAL HOPE that is found in knowing and following Jesus!
